Sean is a Maryland based visual artist working in ceramics, metals, puppetry and animation challenging individual perceptions about struggle, non violent resistance and testing the limitations of long substantive mediums through the power of story telling.  While developing research Sean works to investigate methodologies of creative sources through history from ancient cultures, psychoanalysis, fairy tails and true crime culture telling visual stories though these happenings.  By means of carving, costuming and fantasy Sean finds a consistent resource of interest in how many cultures play different roles in developing alongside one another, many works of patterning, etymology and architecture reflect this and these things shape civilization over the course of generations, this leaves a great patchwork of shared form and symbolism.  With media we experience these symbols in both new and diverted sentiments and it is the task of every artist to try and develop knowledge, rightness and experience with the planet in this way.

Minerals formed by cooling magma billowing lava placed there during the rotative gravitational pull of elements towards a solid mass billions of years ago generates the strata of rock and soil we know as our planet, clay provides a great link to experience these minerals, as is commonly noted we are literally composed of star dust.
